[jQuery] .upload doesn't work on a mac??

Hi all,

I am having problems with
//$('#upload_link').click(function() {alert("Upload clicked")});
$('#upload_link').upload({

when i use .upload it doesn't work with apple mac?? I doesn't open up
the folder/file browser

any tips, suggestions
