Hi. Thanks for the tip. Removing the cleartype solves the issue but indeed the text is ugly (I'm using Cycle on paragraphs of text). Actually, instead of removing cleartype, I just added the CSS rule "background: transparent !important;" on paragraphs, because I discovered that on IE7/8 a background-color is added.
