I am doing an ajax form submit using Mike Alsup's form widget, but something appears broken on IE7 and IE8. Debugging inside jQuery 1.3.2's ajax method I seen the following behaviour:
- if s.data == "_buttonfix=step2&next=step2" onreadystatechange is never triggered, and IE does a normal (non-ajax) form submit - if s.data == null onreadystatechange is triggered, and normal processing continues the backend returns the exact same response for both situations.
