Hi! I also have the same problem on IE7 when the page loads it seems that everything is alright but when the .animate() runs it keeps the 100% transparency and loses the rest of alpha 0-99% transparency.. It is very strange.. I don't know if its only IE bug or also jQuery's .animate() implementation.. So did you or anybody else find a solution?
