Try just using the latest version of jQuery for both plug-ins. The plug-ins (and its website) may not have been updated but may still work with the latest version of jQuery. If it doesn't work work, try removing some of the deprecated things like the @. Take a look at this page for some of the changes to jQuery 1.3: http://docs.jquery.com/Release:jQuery_1.3#Upgrading
