I've figured it out with my css, for anyone else who may be wondering
how to do it the styles are below.

<style>
/* applies to just item53 "The Menu" */
.item53 a *{ display:none }
.item53 a,.item53 a:hover{ background:
url(http://angelinasofbonitasprings.com/images/nav-menu.jpg);width:
47px;height:17px;
}

/* un-css all menus */
.parent ul a *{ display:block }
.parent ul a,.parent ul a:hover{ background: none;width:47px;height:
17px; }
</style>
