Thanks Donald. I'm still having trouble. I get, $
("#id_product").removeOption is not a function

Where my js is,
<script type="text/javascript" src="/media/foods/js/jquery-1.3.js"></
script>

<script type="text/javascript">
$(document).ready(function() {
    $("#id_company").change(function () {
        var data = {};
        data.company = $(this).val();

        $.post("/ajax/products/", data, function(responseData){
          alert(responseData);
          $("#id_product").removeOption(/./);
        }, "json");
    });
});

And my selector is,

      <div class="row">
          <label for="id_product">Product</label> <select
name="product" id="id_product">
<option value="">---------</option>
<option value="1" selected="selected">Peanut butter</option>

<option value="2">Poop</option>
</select>
          <font color="red"></font>
      </div>

Any additional help? Thanks!
