...it works. there's something about the fact that you're calling the page inside of the thickbox plugin that makes it different. i haven't used the plugin, and i'm still fairly new to jQuery, so unfortunately i'm not sure what specifically the issue is, or what the resolution is. but i'd guess that when the thickbox loads the page, the $(document).ready() doesn't fire in the same way that it fires on a normal page load (or... at all, it would seem).
