Hi Karl, I got it working in the end. I'm not sure why but $('table').simpletip ('a') just wouldn't work, whereas $('.adminTable').simpletip('a') did ("adminTable" being the class applied to my giant table). It's unclear why the latter would work and not the former, but at least it's all fine now. Again, thanks for your help!
