I'd implement those if I'd have the time. If you need it anyway, maybe this works out: You add the modifications you need (positionBottom/Center) and send me a patch or just the modified file, via mail or the jQuery bug tracker. Add a html testpage with the new options in use and I should be able to add it to the plugin and release it. That way you can soon enough update to the latest release, instead of keeping local modifications up-to-date.
