The bottom navigator isn't based on anything I've seen. So I'm really
just making up how it should work. The scrollbar is a bit ugly on it,
but it is sure convenient for moving around, and also giving the user
a bigger picture.
I'm also making it up. I don't know that I've seen exactly what I
suggested anywhere else. It was just a
well-this-is-good-but-wouldn't-it-be-better-if reaction to what you
have. I suggested the slow motion there to give the bigger picture of
the horizontal scroll without actually including the distracting scrollbar.
I'll try removing the scrollbar and making the side arrows scroll
while hovering. It think this also means I'll need 'disabled' and
'highlight' version of the arrows to give the user a bit more
navigational cues.
Perhaps, but if they only show up when the mouse is over the scrolling
div, that might be enough.
I'm guessing I'll have the mouse hover start a javascript timer?
I assume so, but I'm really not an animation expert.
Good luck,
