I had a similar problem when using the HTML validator extension a
while back. I didn't see that in your list, but I think Alexandre is
on the right track suggesting that you disable extensions. Then you
can re-enable them in groups until you whittle down the possible
offender(s).

Oh, ok I can try, when I have some more time ... because I think it's
really time comsuming to test out extensions ...
Hm, there are many pages where it happens, e.g.:
http://docs.jquery.com/Core/jQuery#expressioncontext
http://docs.jquery.com/Core/each#callback
http://docs.jquery.com/CSS/css#namevalue
etc etc
Where it works:

seeing the number of extensions you have, try once disabling all of
them and
see if the problem still occurs. if it does, then you know the bug is
somewhere related to your extensions. If it is not, then i wonder
what it
can be, since as hard as i try, i cannot reproduce it. i tried
with this
page:http://docs.jquery.com/Selectors/element#element is there
another
page where you get the error? Can you pls paste the url ?

Hello
I'm using win XP SP2 with the following extensions:
http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/5880/zwischenablage02lj6.jpg
so there's no firebug. The prob is like the following: I click on an
example page, it opens, the example codes shows up and below the
example's output. But about a second later, the example's output
turns
into an iframe that loads again the actual page. This in the iframe
loaded page loads again ... and again ...

again in an iframe, this page again and so on and finally, my
browser
nearly crashes ...
teaa: on some example-pages, it qworks, but nearly nowhere
teaa: I use firefox 2.0.0.14
teaa: so nothing special
teaa: in IE7, it does not happen
teaa: as it should be:

everywhere normally the output of the example would be, is now an

loads
itself again and again and again ...
teaa: I wouldn't need the examples output, but I can hardly read
the
docs, because my browser nearly crashes ...
What's the matter???
