I'm glad I didn't bet against your odds!

By putting a min-height on the div that surrounds
the photo, the content to the right of the photo, 
and the bio, the slide seems to be happy.  It's
got a little jerk in IE6, but I'm not that concerned
about IE6 and it's not terrible.
