For me its PHPdesigner It has one of the best syntax highlighter that I have seen. If I work with Javascript inside PHP and HTML code it highlights only javascript and it feels as you are writing only JS without the distraction of other markup and code. If you go to PHP part of the code it grays out all other and you get the PHP code. Very usefull for multiple programing languages... For me it prevents confusion and chaos.
