Whereas the minified one is 15.3KB http://www.port80software.com/tools/compresscheck.asp?url=http%3A%2F%2Falpha.chalkley.org%2Fjquery%2Fjquery-1.2.2.min.js (I get the same results using this site http://www.gidnetwork.com/tools/gzip-test.php) Have I missed the point why people should use the minified one and gzip it rather than gzipping the packed one?
