Yes, autosave textarea is not possible! But u can autosave to a file on ur host to server for ur work! We can write a function to send request to a php file(php file will save ur data to a file)! And a setTimeout to that function!
Save to cookie, as pcdinh said, it's impossible! Cai i give you a question? Why do u want to autosave textarea? Perhap, u do so in order to can fill that textarea's content in somewhere?
