I'd like to set the CSS fill property of an SVG object via jQuery, but
it's not
working for me. What am I doing wrong?
I'm embedding an SVG document in an XHTML-1.0 Strict page. The doc
contains an
object with a class called fr. Then I do $(".fr").css("fill",
"green") , yet
nothing happens. If I create an embedded CSS stylesheet that does the
same, it
works; .fr { fill: green; } . Moreover, if I do $
(".fr").css("opacity", "1") ,
that also works. But 'fill' fails. Thanks in advance for your advice.
This is under Firefox 2.0.0.5 on Fedora, jQuery-1.2.1.
