Then put a onScroll event on the box its in. $("p").scroll( function() { alert("Hello"); } ); Onscroll, report back to a function to check (with dimensions) the scrollTop number. If it's higher than X (which you define as the bottom), then enable the button. I dont know if this is the best way. It should work though.
