Alex, For what it is worth, I was able to confirm with three recent working v1.1.4 treeview applications are now no longer working "the same" when I simply change the <script src="jquery.1.1.4.pack.js"> tag to v1.2 instead. The immediate viewable issue is the tree images are gone.
