@Sam I always use this as well but maybe a trick for you ineed a bit more design freedom over every piece of repeated data
In my repeater item template I always include a multiview control with several views. This way on databound of the repeater i can determine which view of the multiview to use for each repeater item. But still keep the code as clean as possible.
