Hi Josh,
I use Tortoise as well. Do this:
1) Create a new folder where you want to dump the jQuery stuff into
2) Right click on the folder and click on "SVN Checkout..."
3) In "URL for Repository" enter http://jqueryjs.googlecode.com/svn/trunk
4) Click the "Ok" button
That should bring down the source code for you.
Now, you'll still need Ant to build the jQuery lib files (ie: jquery.js)
for you and you can get that here:
http://ant.apache.org/
I use WinXP and I had to add an ANT_HOME environment variable also
ensure that the following Ant dirs were in my path:
\apache-ant\bin
\apache-ant\lib
Finally, once I've downloaded the code from the repo, I run a simple
batch file that places me in the correct jQuery code dir and runs Ant.
HTH.
