No, that helped quite a bit to understand how to best utilize jQuery. Thank

Either way, file a bug report
for it so it doesn't get lost. Inconsistent behavior is no good, but
.attr('style', ...) is certainly best to avoid. I think that's the
whole point of .css(...).
dev.jquery.com appears to be down, so I'll post a bug about it once it's back
up.
