I think the below is a great idea. Posts to the list don't always work. As an example, I am a web developer with very low JavaScript ability, so a lot of what passes by on the list is incomprehensible, ..but some is sinking in by osmosis I think ;).

There are more than a few plugins I'd like to use in a bit of a different way but can't change, and likewise my clients, so it would be great to be able to post jobs for paid setups/modifications

On the topic of spreading the word, what about some sort of job board
on the jQuery site? Seems to me that it might be a good thing for the
community -- especially if there was some option for clients to allow
code that they sponsor to be released under a reusable license.
