You may be able to create a link element and append it to the DOM,
although toying with IE7 recently (and modifing script tags in the
HEAD) proved to have some security issues.

It might be advantagous to use an ID or class property on the BODY
element of your document and reconsider your CSS.
Applying your body class will then effect the whole DOM tree.
