But seriously, there is alot of traffic on this list and its still 99%
signal, 1% noise. Pretty awesome.
This thread is the 1%. I remember in NYC, the WWWAC list. (
http://www.wwwac.org/) (Wow, they still exist).
Anyway, that list after a while was 5% signal and 95% noise. Really sucked.
Personally, I don't think it's a problem yet here. My highschool alumni
mailing list gets porn/drug spam once a month.
Its modern living in the digital age. God bless the internet.

PS. I had a chance to build some early porn sites in 1996. My wife (then
girlfriend) said no. I coulda been rich. :(
PPS. Akismet has captured 3000 spam comments to my blog this year.
