I've recently tried Selenium IDE again, and it doesn't work well with
jQuery and its events. Selenium doesn't record a keypress that is
handled by jQuery. So currently it won't help you testing sites with
heavy JS use, but its great for testing pages and form submissions and
validations. It's very easy to record test using the IDE, and you can
save those and run them on a server in different browsers. Didn't try
the last part yet...
