Dear group, I am playing around with a platform created to crowd-fund OpenSource projects: http://www.catincan.com
This platform might be useful for the jOOQ community to drive developments towards one or the other direction, when a feature requires me to pay for licenses, or if it is rather complex, and thus, time-consuming, to implement. I'm running a pilot funding attempt for jOOQ's MS Access support: https://www.catincan.com/proposal/jooq/add-support-ms-access-jooq In order to support MS Access, I have to procure a license, which I'm hoping to get funding for through catincan. Another possible funding project is a Windows 7 OS license (and a VM license to run it), as DB2, Sybase ASE and Informix do not seem to work on my Windows 8 machine (yet). Feel free to provide feedback about crowd-funding, or to create initiatives for funding projects.
