*Must have:* *Datawarehousing ETL - BO DI XI, Oracle 10g, AIX - UNIX*
* *
- Solid exposure to Datawarehousing especially ETL with *BO DI XI*. Have
minimum two complete life cycle experience with ETL to OLAP level.
- Independently should be able to analyze business requirements, design,
and document the ETL requirements.
- Expertise with BODI XI tool: Must be able to implement requirements
using BO-DI XI tool.
- Solid working knowledge with Oracle 10g, SQL - querying against UNIX
environment.
- Analytical skills to quickly acquire legacy application knowledge
- Gain understanding of existing legacy ETL processes (how we get data
today).
- Analyze the OLD- existing Legacy systems code that has different ERP
Sources and the implementations for building the mappings with BO DI.
(mainframe COBOL and/or SAP).
Ø *Scheduling:*
Ø Define and code BO-DI Jobs, work flows (WFs), and dataflows (DFs)
with appropriate mappings as per the business needs. DI scripting procedures
for dependency and Integration of jobs/WFs/DFs.
Ø Administration and schedule DI jobs as per daily, weekly and
monthly.
Ø Build/define job scheduling (control M) integration points, if
required.
Ø *Data Acquisition*
o Create standard process for data acquisition which:
§ Does not use legacy Cognos/Novell infrastructure
§ Requires minimal (if any) BA/IT assistance
o Provide guidance on implementation strategy for data acquisition
from subsidiaries.
o Develop new process to bring in PO data from subsidiaries (AMAPS or
SAP) and existing legacy locations
o Replace current process for subsidiaries to contribute invoice and
receipt data using BO DI standard process
o Understand current best practices to provide team guidance
considering future database load increments.
o Definition/implementation of ETL data cleansing rules (and if files
are not received at all)
Ø *Migration of DI Objects across Local*(DEV), Test(QA) and Central
Repositories(PROD).
Ø Co-ordination with the OLAP - BO Team.
Ø Maintain documentation and support data porting process between
Sybase and oracle
Ø Mentor production support resources in ETL processes
