Utilizes existing or new tech in the automation of processes. Evaluates software packages, provides recommendations to management. *RESPONSIBILITIES:** *** Act as the tech. lead for highly complex projects related to the development of new systems, apps or tech. capabilities in support of business goals. Provide technical direction for projects, engage in all phases of the development cycle. Develop, implement strategies to execute large scale/complex projects through vision. Oversee developments/ensure conformance to performance optimization, interoperability standards/requirements. Provide technical recommendations and consultation on web-based power cost modeling app using n-tier architecture. Act as the SME and consult w/clients and IT in support of the Companys IT strategy and overarching business requirements. Consult, provide direction to the customer w/the highest level of influence. *REQUIRED SKILLS:** * * * - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, IS or a related field; or the equivalent combination education and experience. - A minimum of five years experience in business application design, development, and/or installation. - Experience in the industry or in an environment whose scope, size, and complexity are comparable. - Project management skills and the ability to develop and monitor work agreements and budgets, and determine specifications, schedules, and deliverables. - Communication and interpersonal skills for consulting with users to understand needs, define requirements and provide effective solutions. - Knowledge of current technologies, tools, applications, and vendors. - Understanding of the Companys existing IT environment and of applicable Company policies, practices, and procedures. - Strong understanding of structured analysis and technical design concepts.
