Patient Safety Contract has created a new position for development of the second phase of the Patient Safety web site. This will be a 6 month contract. Responsible for . Minimum of 5 years of intensive development experience using JAVA . Experience building, deploying, and maintaining a consumer Web site . Excellent working knowledge of a web framework involving J2EE, JSP, XML, HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, XSLT, and Design Patterns . Strong working knowledge of application servers like BEA Weblogic or TomCat(preferred) . Interest and aptitude to learn and implement new tools and technologies. . Highly motivated, strong software design and debugging skills . Detail-oriented . Good communication skills . Be able to balance changing priorities. . Prior experience with Content Management Systems like Life Ray,OpenCMS, Plone or Alfresco would be a big plus . Experience in evaluating and implementing open source software .
