_**Few notes for reviewers:**_ - **Gradle team confirms that version 9.0.0 is stable** (regression mentioned above is hitting only **9.1.0-rc-1** version: https://github.com/gradle/gradle/issues/34691#issuecomment-3208979878) - I opted to split solution into three commits (just for the sake of clarity) but will eventually squash them into one - distributions generated by Gradle 9 (both **_main_** and **_site-docs_**) are looking just fine (when it comes to a size and/or number of files/folders) - size for both and old and new **_main_** distribution is 130 MB and number of files is identical - there is a slight difference in size for a site-docs distribution (Gradle 9.0: 3.7 MB vs Gradle 8.14: 3.6 MB, but files and folders are identical - _**note: will double-check this tomorrow**_) - also I will try to do some additional testing (i.e. to setup Kafka cluster out of this distribution) ASAP I invite you all to review (and hopefully someone will pick this up :smiley:): @chia7712 @apoorvmittal10 @mumrah @ijuma @showuon -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
