> Do you mean the docs should be moved from 4.0 branch to 3.9 branch? If yes, we have to update the kafka-site too as 3.9.0 docs is on board already. Yeah, I was thinking that we would have one page where we talk about the migration from zk to kraft and where we describe the changes in behavior from zk to kraft (including all the metrics/configs that are no longer relevant, etc.). Users would look at this one place when migrating from zk to kraft. Thinking about it more, there is another use case: an operator that is creating a new kraft mode cluster and is used to operating zk mode clusters. OK, so here is another (hopefully better) suggestion: 1. Create a page with a title: "Differences between kraft mode and zk mode". This page exists in trunk/4.0 and describes the differences between both. This is useful for anyone that is familiar with zk mode and is trying to get themselves up to speed with kraft mode. This is similar to what we have in this PR, but the framing is a bit different. 2. Add a link from the kraft to zk migration page in 3.9 to the current version of the "differences between kraft and zk mode" page as that is helpful information when doing the migration.
