Review Comment:
   Yes, but I'm considering a potential concern.
   
   It's better to keep the `allConsumed` invocation in the background thread. 
I'm concerned that involving the app thread could unnecessarily complicate the 
model, especially considering the threading interactions. (Although it seems 
simple now.)
