The example I posted above isn't showing a real oscillation, it's showing that we might report the metric default value (in the example, this is 1.0) if `measure` is called twice without a poll completing between the two calls. The `1.0` values aren't "real", they're placeholder values inserted because `measure` must return some value when called. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
