Is this still something we would want to do? The issue has not seen any updates
in five and a half years, but apparently people are still using mx4j in
recent-ish versions (KAFKA-4946)?
Looking at the mx4j project it seems to have died sometime around 2012, should
we maybe consider replacing it with something like
[Jolokia|https://jolokia.org/] if we really want jmx over http?
