Ismael Juma commented on KAFKA-18357: ------------------------------------- I don't think we should implement this ourselves. If there is a project that tackles that, we can use it. But it's not something that we should have to maintain, in my opinion. As far as I know, it hasn't been requested by users at all so far. > Support to dynamically configure the log level for JUL and logback > ------------------------------------------------------------------ > > Key: KAFKA-18357 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KAFKA-18357 > Project: Kafka > Issue Type: Task > Reporter: Chia-Ping Tsai > Assignee: Chia-Ping Tsai > Priority: Major > > We currently support dynamic log level configuration only when the server is > run with Log4j, which is our official logging implementation by default. > However, it would be beneficial to support other popular SLF4J providers to > further consolidate Kafka's logging functionality. -- This message was sent by Atlassian Jira (v8.20.10#820010)
