The main difference between 3.1.1 and >=3.1.2 is the improved eviction
mechanism.
- 3.1.2:
- Approach: Processes a single candidate entry at a time, moving
sequentially in LRU order.
- 3.1.1:
- Approach: Supports batch processing of multiple candidate entries, with
movement direction controlled by the remaining candidates count.
It appears that this change will affect RemoteIndexCache original behavior.
