Colin McCabe commented on KAFKA-14084: -------------------------------------- SCRAM is in 3.5. It is supported as of MetadataVersion 3.5-IV2. KAFKA-14859 is almost done. It needs to be in 3.5 as well. The other JIRAs are done. We should do SCRAM migration to for 3.5, I think, given that it's a small amount of code. And it would be pretty confusing to explain how we could end up with SCRAM support but not migration. > Support SCRAM when using KRaft mode > ----------------------------------- > > Key: KAFKA-14084 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KAFKA-14084 > Project: Kafka > Issue Type: Improvement > Reporter: Colin McCabe > Assignee: Proven Provenzano > Priority: Major > Labels: kip-500 > Fix For: 3.5.0 > > > Support SCRAM when using KRaft mode, as specified in KIP-631 -- This message was sent by Atlassian Jira (v8.20.10#820010)
