Dear Aparna, I think many of us writing in this forum are using too many words on occasion, and all the wrong ones at other times simply because we are not comfortable with the medium of communication.
There is no question of not accepting other sources of information or other points of view. There are certain Non negotiables though. There comes a time in every span of history wherein people living in that moment have to make choices. We are going through just that kind of a transition. The choice here is between moving forward or tossing and turning in the cauldron of past mistakes. Who are we as a polity? what kind of a country do we want to be? What can we allow and what is unaccepatable? We have laws yes, but they will only be effective if people like you and I are clear about these issues. Our confusion manifests itself in all the chaos that we see around us.
