This briefly explains how to do it. See if that helps. It is a little bit old, meaning, it applies for prior to Milestone 2 release. But I think even after M2, only the undeploy mechanism might have changed. I am not 100% sure because I am using the version prior to that.

someone could tell me the way i could deploy my own instance portal. Y could deploy the jetspeed. but now i´d like to work in my own portal in eclipse .
