to discard things, Could you connect the agent as a regular ssh-agent and
run a silly job in it, something like the following pipeline ;), if it
works it is something in the selenium grid plugin
```
node('my-rebel-agent'){
sh(label: "the most complex thing in the world", script: "hello world")
}
```
