Jenkins has no substantially different hardware and platform requirements between 1.640 and 2.32.x, with the exception of what's listed for 2.7.1: https://jenkins.io/doc/upgrade-guide/2.7/#upgrading-to-jenkins-lts-2-7-1 In general, you should read all upgrade guides for intermediate versions, as they're written with a upgrade from the previous LTS release in mind, and you're skipping quite a few.
