You can use the timestamp plugin:
- https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/Timestamper

If you use unix you can use the time command too within your build steps as 
long as they are "execute shell" types:
- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time_(Unix)

for instance:
time bundle
time bundle exec rake build
