Hello - I'm fairly new to Jenkins so bare with me please. I'm a Linux Admin
so I versed in how to install and start Jenkins on *nix. However, my
problem lies in "unlocking" Jenkins when I'm on a Windows host using the
portable version downloaded from http://jenkins.io

I have followed the on-screen instructions and opened the log file and
pasted the passcode but it never takes me anywhere or does anything for
that matter.

On the Windows server 2k12 we're using XAMPP and dropping that jenkins war
file and launching tomcat through xampp. All of that seems to be working as
expected so I don't think there's anything necessarily wrong with XAMPP or
tomcat b/c I can browse to http://server:8080/jenkins and i get the below
webpage

As stated above, I paste the passcode and it doesn't appear to be doing
anything. Note: when i do enter a known "invalid" passcode like abc123 it
does tell me the passcode is incorrect. However, when i paste the real
passcode Jenkins doesn't do anything....

Needs some help please....

Unlock Jenkins

To ensure Jenkins is securely set up by the administrator, a password has
been written to the log (not sure where to find it?
<https://jenkins.io/redirect/find-jenkins-logs>) and this file on the
server:

C:\Users\sysadmin\.jenkins\secrets\initialAdminPassword

Please copy the password from either location and paste it below.
