I'd love to have a pull request proposing a fix, though I'm not sure if the pull request would be to modify the pipeline plugins to use command line git instead of JGit, or if it is worth trying the git-client-plugin 2.0.0-beta1 and git-plugin 3.0.0-beta2 versions since they use JGit 4.3 (rather than JGit 3.7 as is used in the current git client plugin release).
