Yes, it would be interesting to know if it has been fixed in version 2, and it would also be nice to know when this problem was introduced and if we can downgrade to a know working version. Should we open a bug in jenkins's JIRA? Have you seen https://issues.jenkins-ci.org/browse/JENKINS-34573? Have you generated a heap dump? I'm not too familiar with that (yet).
