The Jenkins wiki page on the multiple SCMs plugin includes several
different comments from people about popular SCM plugins which do not quite
work as expected with the multiple SCMs plugin.  No mention is made of the
file system SCM, but there are several mentions of edit fields not being
preserved across changes.
