Hello, I have worked out two scripts where calling scripts promotes a build 'automatically' and once the build is promoted , the build number is displayed under "Promoted build parameters" "Build From" drop in down in the called script.
I am also using SET BUILD NAME plug-in which creates a custom name for the build, the plug-in works fine and custom build name is being displayed correctly in the "Build History" column, however the problem is , under "Build From" which is the "name" parameter which is a dropdown under "called script" .e.g deployment script, still displays "default build number" .e.g Build-A#39 etc. My question is if there is a way I could customize "Build-A#39" string in the dropdown and display my "custom build number" for user to selelct from? your help is appreciated -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Jenkins Users" group.
