Alex,
You have to collect all the variables in a file.
Example:
A=halleluya
B=123
C=kuku

Then like in the picture that I sent you already:
Call the desired build with those parameters :
A=$A
B=$B
C=$C

How would you recommend me to build this job if I need to pass a content of a
file to one of my scripts in this job?

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,

I hope this can help if I understood :
You can't pass a file as a parameter , you need to break it into variables .

Hi Yossi,
Maybe I didn't explain it clearly..
I'm not talking about a properties file,
What I meant is to send a path of some txt file that holds inside some string
that is changing from my previous builds - the upstream builds, I want to use
the content of The file as a parameter, but I want this process to be automated
so once I'll call this parameter it will already hold the content of this file.
Could you give some example with a Linux syntax?

Thanks,
Alex

Hi,

First install the plugin:
https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/EnvInject+Plugin

2.
create a file .

3. inject the file

4. call the desired build with the parameter from the file .

Example:

I want to put a path to a txt file, and each build this parameter will read the

Is it possible?

Not sure, based on your description, which scenario would suit you best, but
here's the plugin you need:

Let me know if you need any help with it
