I recently moved to using the exclusion plugin from locks and latches and while the plugin works very well, it has had the negative effect of making my matrix jobs run sequentially. I don't understand why the plugin should treat each axis as a separate build that needs exclusive control. If that was desired, the matrix job already has the option to run each configuration sequentially.
